A.M. Reception and transfer to the chosen hotel.

EXCURSION TO THE WATERFALLS OF AHUASHIYACU

-Pick up from the hotel at 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. to start the tour to the waterfall, approximately 30
minutes.
-The first stop will be at the natural viewpoint Alto Ahuashiyacu, which has an unparalleled view.
Then we will make a short hike to the Ahuashiyacu waterfall.
-The excursion to the waterfall is a fairly quiet plan for all ages. Besides being a must-see
destination on your trip to Tarapoto.
-On the way you will have to pay attention to the legend of the waterfall, accompanied by the
amount of flora and fauna that you can see in the few meters of the walk which is unimaginable.
-When you get to the waterfall, you can walk the trails and/or take a relaxing bath in its cool
waters.
-End of tour at 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. approximately.

VISIT THE NATIVE COMMUNITY OF LAMAS

-3:30 P.M. Pick up from the hotel to start the excursion to the city of Lamas, located 30 minutes
from Tarapoto.
-Our first point of visit will be the main square of Lamas. Then we will go to the ethnographic
museum of Lamas, a place where you can learn
about the history and customs of the Chancas and Lamistas.
– Afterwards we will go to the highest part of the city: The viewpoint of La Cruz, where we will
appreciate the great valley that is the road to the area of Alto Mayo.
-We will also visit the Castle of Rocks, a dreamlike medieval construction in the middle of the
jungle.
-Finally, we will learn about the culture of the Wayku native community, who will show us the
benefits of some products such as sacha inchi, copaiba, sangre de grado, among others.
-End of the tour at 6:30 p.m. approximately. Overnight at the hotel.

ALTOMAYO TOUR

-AM. We will pick you up from your hotel between 7:30 – 8:00 a.m. to go to Moyobamba. In this
place, we will visit the orchidarium (orchid collection) of the city, where a guide will take us
through the facilities and give us more information about these flowers.

-Then, we will visit Rioja, place where we will know the source of the Tioyacu River, where we
will have the possibility to swim and take a walk through the green areas of the place, prepared
to receive the tourists.

-Regional lunch (Selected dishes only)

-Then, we will visit Chakra Vieja where we will be able to taste typical drinks of the region.

-Once the circuit is finished, we will take our vehicle to return to Tarapoto.

-Arrival at 7:30 p.m. approx. Overnight at the hotel.

LAGUNA AZUL – SAUCE TOUR

-09:00 A.M. Pick up from the hotel in the morning to start a trip of approximately 1 hour and a
half to 2 hours.
-We will make a first stop at the Port, to cross the Huallaga River on a captive raft.
-After crossing the river we will go to the heart of Sauce, where we will board a boat to go around
the lagoon for about an hour. You will have to pay attention to the legends that the lagoon has,
because it will give you many surprises.
-Then we will have lunch with regional dishes and then we will settle down in a place called El
Caño, where we can rest, swim in the lagoon, take a horseback ride and a boat ride.
-In the same way, we can also enjoy other optional activities (not included) such as kayaking,
zipline and jet skiing.
– End of the tour at 6:00 p.m. and overnight at the hotel.
