Caral Full Day Tour

OVERVIEW

This experience is full of history and culture, where you can discover the legacy of Caral, the oldest Civilization in America. To do this, we will travel to the Sacred City of Caral in the Supe Valley, 185 km north of the city of Lima.

HIGHLIGHTS

You will see the oldest manifestation of civilization in Peru, 5000 years old.

We will visit its ceremonial buildings, residential sectors, temples, and much more.

You will learn how this civilization developed, living in harmony with nature. In addition to his Andean worldview and expression of art.

ITINERARY

6:00 A.M. Meeting at the point agreed upon by the group.

7:30 A.M. We will make a stop in Chancay to have breakfast.

10:00 A.M. We continue along the North Pan-American Highway and take a detour that will take us to the sacred city of Caral, considered the oldest in America, almost as old as Egypt, Mesopotamia, India and China. We will tour a large part of this citadel accompanied by a local guide who will explain more about the history of this ancient civilization. We will get to know its monumental pyramids, the amphitheater, its offering pits, its central squares, the residential areas and its religious centers.

12:00 P.M. We back to Lima.

3:00 P.M. Approximate arrival at the initial departure point.

All reservations are confirmed with payment of 50% of the tour, 4 days before the service.
The remaining 50% can be paid on the day of the tour. Last minute reservations consult.
You can pay for your reservation by depositing it into our bank accounts, Izipay link or
PayPal (which will allow you to pay with cards and PayPal accounts), and in cash (exceptional cases).
Changes and cancellations can be made up to 48 hours after the reservation is made (subject to penalty), after that time cancellations are not allowed, and there are no refunds.
The stop en route for lunch is optional, it will depend on the passengers and must be in a place that is en route to Lima. If deviated there will be additional costs.
Hotel pickups are in Miraflores, San Isidro and Downtown Lima, pick up and drop off at your hotel. Pick-ups are in central hotels. Check if your hotel is on the pick-up route before confirming the reservation.
The tour is carried out in Spanish and/or English, if it is in another language, ask fot it.
The tour inside the citadel lasts approximately an hour and a half to 2 hours.
The departure time can vary at the passenger’s request: as long as it fits with the time the citadel closes.
