You will awake in a beautiful natural environment with the chanting of the oropéndolas and other exotic birds. Those who wake up early can enjoy the sunrise by the river, take pictures in the paths within the lodge or from our viewpoint, while enjoying a freshly filtered coffee or some infusion. After breakfast, we will cross the Tambopata river by boat and start a trekking by one of the trails of Wasaí’s private conservation concession. With some luck, we will be able to watch some mammals (monkeys, huanganas etc) on the way. We will also take advantage of this ride and try to fish some piranhas and visit some local plantations. We will return to the lodge at around 11.00 am. Those who wish can go kayaking on the river or go fishing some of the 250 species that inhabit the river.
After lunch, we will embark the boat and head to the Tambopata National Reserve where our campsite is located. During the journey we will pass through beautiful and pristine landscapes, with few or none human presence whatsoever, areas destined exclusively to conservation and eco-tourism, giving us an excellent opportunity to watch birds and animals such as capybaras, jaguars, turtles, caimans, etc.
As the afternoon falls, we will arrive to campsite, where we will settle our encampment in one of the beaches. We will make a short walk in the beach looking for tracks. At night, after dinner, we will light a campfire under the moonlight. Camping night (B, L, D)
